WE UNDERSTAND BUSINESS.

The Damascus Leadership Team has worked inside and partnered with large corporations and small businesses for the last 30 years. Additionally, we have been working with the incarcerated and exploring reentry hiring since 2002. Our highest success measure: moving a Damascus employee from our payroll onto your payroll and into a sustainable life. What other staffing service says that?

INCREASE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY AND BOTTOM LINE.

Damascus partners with organizations that can provide full-time, temp-to-permanent positions for its employees. The employees we provide to your company have a Damascus team member who walks with them every step of the way. We are patient, fair and hold both workers and employers accountable for the deals they strike. We keep open lines of communication between the employer and our employees, and our Client Representatives remain the 24/7 liaison between the two should any hurdles arise.

Damascus INployment: An innovative approach to workforce readiness and community mobility
In 2022, Damascus created a unique approach to workforce labor shortages in the Cincinnati region by partnering with local manufacturers and taking work opportunities inside correctional and treatment facilities. The program is called Damascus INployment.
In this one-of-a-kind program, individuals who are completing their time inside a treatment or correctional facility can gain valuable--and sometimes inaugural--work readiness skills while earning a living wage before returning home. Earnings are held until release and the average earnings in the first year was over $3,500 per person. These earnings allow for a successful springboard back into the community and promote self-sufficiency and mobility.

Regional manufacturers are able to meet their customer demand as Damascus hires and manages the workforce, and collaborates daily on all product details, quality and logistics. Participants in the first year of Damascus INployment completed nearly 1 million piecework project parts for regional employers.

Supported by the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, Damascus INployment continues to grow in the region as more facilities and employment partners are added.

WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS WITH DAMASCUS: STEPS TO BECOMING A DAMASCUS STAFFING PARTNER

Partner Meeting
Together we determine the work opportunity details and tour the facility. We thoroughly discuss the job specifics for candidates, along with the expectations each partner has for success.

Candidate Selection
Damascus Client Reps determine candidates who match your work opportunity. These individuals have already been exposed to the Damascus training through group sessions, individual training, and interview. In most cases, they are eligible for Damascus Transportation, which promotes strong attendance rates and encourages teamwork among workers.

Work Preparation
Final candidates are prepared to begin at the employment site. If there is an employee orientation, Damascus provides transportation for the worker(s). On the first day of employment, the Damascus Client Rep accompanies the new worker(s) to the site to introduce them to their supervisor and ensure the first day goes smoothly.

Continued Support
Until employees are hired full-time, Damascus continues to provide support to employers and employees, transportation assistance, and various other forms of backing to all parties involved with the employment placement.
